About me
I work across commercial, sport, portrait, fashion and editorial photography, creating images for brands, athletes, artists and creative teams. I’m interested in people, energy and the moments that make a photograph feel alive — whether they’re carefully constructed or completely unexpected.
A good photograph rarely happens by accident. It comes from understanding the brief, knowing what you want to achieve and creating the conditions for something to happen. I like being part of that process. I can art direct, shape a shoot and take control when it’s needed, but I’m equally comfortable stepping back, taking direction and allowing a moment to develop.
Much of my work has taken place in environments where things move quickly and there isn’t always a second chance. That has taught me to stay calm, pay attention and make decisions when they matter. More importantly, it has taught me how to work with people. To listen, build trust and recognise when the best thing for the photograph is to stop trying to control it.
Over more than twenty years, I’ve worked with brands, publications, artists and athletes across the UK, Europe and beyond. From large-scale campaigns and commercial productions to personal projects and unpredictable locations, every shoot brings its own set of challenges.
The camera is only part of the job. I bring experience, curiosity and creative judgement to the situation, with the aim of making photographs that feel considered, connected and alive.
